Drum Estate

September 2nd Saturday Strollers earlier today - we did a circular walk starting from Ellen's Glen (in the South of Edinburgh), out to the Drum Estate, and back round again via various cycle/quiet routes ...

... weather was particularly pleasant - main snap shows 'The Drum estate house', near where we stopped for lunch in the sunshine. The house, and wider estate, has a really fascinating history.

Ended the afternoon with a swift-visit to the Robin's Nest, on Gilmerton Road, all before returning home ;-)
