The boys

Early walk to get paper and croissants and it was already getting warm. We called daughter to see if they fancied coffee and cake, which they did so we walked to their place and then along the canal to our favourite coffee shop. We were all melting by the time we got there so had beer and cake. Then walked on to somewhere cooler for light lunch.
The boys chatted non stop as they seem to have so much in common.
As we were walking back daughter commented on how alike her partner and dad are, and how that is a good thing as her dad is great.
Sat in the coolest part of the garden for a couple of hours before making dinner.
