Yellow

Walking this morning a little after 6am.  Met fellow dog walker Charlene and husky Storm.  Still a warm morning even before sunrise.

Back home enjoyed a bit of peace and contemplation in the garden for a while.  Ironed a few clothes, fed hound his breakfast. Mid morning had my toast and coffee.

Intended to put a washing load on but the forecast weather warning of rain and thunder put me off   Machine loaded and ready for tomorrow. 

In the afternoon cooked last night's soaked chickpeas.  Made hummus.  Dinner was salads and dips. Too hot to do much cooking.

It's been pretty hot today.  Very little air movement which makes the air heavy.  Bedroom is currently 26° even with open windows.
