Shopping trip

We have a big holiday this month - booked at the beginning of the year it is our first long haul trip. We are flying to Vancouver, spending a few days there then catching the Rocky Mountaineer train to Banff. A day in Banff then on to Calgary for a flight to Toronto. A few days in Toronto then on to my cousins for a few days (she lives near Niagra Falls). Then a flight home. This is a special holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, which isn’t until January but we wanted to see the Fall season in September in Canada.

So a bit of shopping today for the holiday - comfy shoes and walking shoes - managed to get one pair in the sale!

Boy its been hot today - recorded 33 degrees.

Lovely tea tonight - duck tacos.

Film tonight - The Matrix Resurrection, good film, helps to have seen the other ones. We both saw this on a plane flight at the beginning of the year, but not always easy to absorb it with the little screen and plane activity.
