Almabtrieb

Today in Axams was the Almabtrieb of the cows.
The cows, horses and sheep are coming down the alpine mountains to live the winter in the barns in the valley.
The animals are decorated and cheered on. 
("Abschied von den Bergen" - Farewell to the mountains)
Wouldn't want to be in a stampede with that many cows coming down the streets.
