Roanoke Star

Another lovely day with Wendy. We finished off with visiting the Roanoke Star. We are told it was erected in 1949 as a symbol of the city and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the world's largest manmade star weighing 10,000lbs and measures 88.5ft high. It consumes 17,500 watts of electricity (albeit we are not told if this is per annum or something else)! Anyhow it sounds a fair amount!

Our last evening and we ate at an Inca restaurant. Yucca (which I have some success in growing) turns out to taste delicious
