Tourist for the day

The Goldwing parade started raising money for charity in 2008 and today saw them back in town for the first time in four years.

It was cancelled for 2 years due to covid and last year due to the passing of Her Majesty.

The highlight of the event is a light parade along the seafront followed by a fireworks display.

We decided to venture in this afternoon to see them parked up on the harbour side.

The beautiful weather brought the crowds out, hundreds sunbathing on the beach. A real boost for local businesses.

After dinner we sat out on the deck and witnessed a spectacular electric storm out towards the sea.
