Shanty Town
Jacqui was birdwatching at Seaton so I went to the Teignmouth Maritime and Shanty Festival on my own. There were 50 maritime/ shanty groups singing in over 20 venues for three days. As well as the singing and the music, I boarded a tall ship, TS Pelican of London, saw a figurehead carver at work, and went to a talk on lighthouses of Devon and Cornwall. There were also official buskers, including Chloe the Piano Cyclist(extra), and Morris Dancers. And a deep sea diver to get in a deep conversation with.(extra)
Another glorious day living the life of Riley
