More Practice

Less than two weeks to go to my (Chris) 2 day, 24 peaks of the Lake District trek raising funds for homeless charity, Crisis. Annie was at a memorial service near Barnsley for a cousin so she was able to drop me off to walk in the Peak District. I took a route from Bamford Railway Station climbing up to Stanage Edge (blipped) before crossing the A57 to climb Derwent Edge and eventually coming down to Ladybower reservoir. Twelve miles, it was very hot and I’d loaded a rucksack as I will for the Lake District so it was great practice. I just hope it isn’t this hot in two weeks time.
