Kahu, the Harrier Hawk........hiding

Was very excited today when I discovered
a movement in the rushes was a Harrier hawk
tip toed towards it and snapped away.....
It is a young Harrier with its dark brown eyes,
dark brown plumage.Its eyes turn yellow at 3 years..
Summer or winter they can be seen drifting over the
countryside looking for something likely to eat
A first for me snapping one of these.....exciting....
