Janie

Today is our friend Janie Tippet’s 90th birthday. Janie is one of the most colorful, incredible people I have ever met. Too many details about how we came to know each other to share here. She lives outside of Enterprise, Oregon, a full 395 miles from here, too many to travel for her birthday bash tonight. Janie just completed a five day writing trip through the Fishtrap writers community, a float down the Snake River. She is the definition of of a tough, old school woman of the Old West. I am confident that ten years from now, I will be blipping her 100th birthday, after she has returned from some wild adventure. Happy birthday, Janie.
