It was a super hot parkwalk for me today. I chatted to a visitor at the start who'd got the train and then cycled to the park but forgotten her bike lock.  I was able to help her by stashing her bike in our storage hut.  Great to see Donna returning too.

Some chores and a visit to Pa later it was time to drive  down to Gatwick.  I'd booked the Hilton instead of the Premier Inn where we usually stay.  We were allocated a room which, I think,  as far as possible from the reception.  It was comfortable but we didnt find the tea and coffee in our room until we were leaving.   Although our food was good, the restaurant was expensive with poor service. It will likely be back to normal if we stay here again.
