The Birds

For the last week or so all the starlings in the neighbourhood, hundreds of them, have congregated in the trees and on the lines on our street for a very noisy ten minutes or so, before they stop just as suddenly and all fly off. An impending thunderstorm and early dark skies prompted them to gather earlier than usual today.
