I didn't want to go further in the forest without mosquito repellent, but I managed to attract interest from one of them anyway... pesky little things! 
Upstairs neighbour woke me up this morning... she was clonking around so hard that glass rattled inside the cabinets. She woke me up, but not the shooting that happened in my area of town, last night... It was not close by, thankfully, but the shooting violence is starting to feel a bit too close for comfort.
