On the wall

Bailey looks a bit caught out in this shot but I was quite pleased to see him on the wall as he's not been up there for a while when it used to be one of his favourite perches. I had put it down to his limited vision but he has managed today and is perhaps feeling a bit braver. He also managed to get himself back downstairs last night and slept down there all night. To be fair, it probably wasn't a bad idea as it was definitely cooler than upstairs. 

I stayed up with Bailey after his breakfast and got on with some work jobs. A walk around the block before it got too warm and then back to carry on whilst Bailey mooched in and out of the garden. The heat didn't rise properly until lunchtime and then it has been really warm. The thunder and lightning appeared but didn't really lower the temperature. I'm hoping for a cooler week but still some sunshine which will hopefully last 'til the weekend.
