Saharan dust!

The drizzle filtering through the blanket of cloud first thing left an accumulation of dust from the desert on my car’s bonnet.

I did think of how far the dust had travelled and realised that it would have passed over Morocco where a devastating earthquake has just occurred. I also thought of the U.K. summer migrating birds that have to head south soon.
