Cardinal in hand

Today was a mainly cloudy day it was up to 22C in the afternoon. I got out for a morning walk by the lake and had some time to find the cardinal. He seemed quite busy again feeding a young one so came to my hand a couple of times for peanuts. Both times he did not stay too long but had time to grab a peanut and fly off.
