Covering a big hole

Despite frequent and often heavy showers, the work continued in Haultain Street. For reasons that escape me there is a large hole in what will be the roadway once they fix that hole and others, and humps as well. For safety two sheets of plywood have been placed over the hole, then the digger has been positioned so that no one can lift the covering.

Out tonight for a gathering to mark S' brother's birthday. It was daughter J's birthday yesterday. Using the barbecue I roasted some lamb, potatoes, carrot, pumpkin, and broccoli. Worked very nicely.
