Enjoying the beach

After another spell of packing and labelling, we decided to head down to the beach at Eastbourne. We were not sure about going in the sea due to the various reports in recent months about sewage discharge, but it looked fine, so we ventured in. It was great - cold but we soon got used to it. Afterwards we went for a beachside drink and watched others (including this family) enjoying the late summer warmth.
