3179. Dahlia
Our hotel is fabulously quirky and ultra modern with loads of tech stuff that hubby is enjoying playing with, like controls to open the window, shut the blinds or put on dimmer mode lighting! The bed is also huge and the hotel is spotlessly clean too.
We stopped at reception this morning to get some info about getting about the city and borrowed their travel card which we then loaded with about 20 journeys so we can get about for the next few days. The metro is only a short walk away and the signs are clear and easy to follow so no issues getting about.
We bought tickets for the city tour bus for two days so we can do both tours once and then decide where we want to go back to.
We did one tour for about an hour or so then got off and stopped for lunch at a wonderful little bar. We both had Iberian Ham with Fried Eggs on Chips and it was delicious!
We went to the Botanic Gardens where they had the most beautiful dahlias..so many varieties and colours.
Back to the hotel for a break then we’re off out again.
