I met with Kevin MacNeil this afternoon for my mentoring session. It went very well. Basically he loved the manuscript, the characters and way I kept the humour going.  (I told him I got my humour from my morther,) There were a couple of bits he didn't like but they are expendable. Moreover he is willing to endorse it. So if it were to be published, his endorsement would be on the cover. I was fairly blown away by that. Of course getting Heronsburgh 1965 published is not going to be easy. I have to sort out the ending and then pitch the manuscript to agents and publishers. Still, I'm somewhat over the moon.
