Today was switch over day for the phone line. First job was to unplug the phone from the old connector and put it in the new one.

Then down the hill for milk.

Mid morning I had 2 emails, a farewell from BT and another to say the number had been transferred.

Early in the afternoon I drove to Grasmere. Went round the village twice and couldn’t find a parking space. Even the massive lay-by was packed.

Fortunately on the way back to Ambleside I spotted a big space in the lay-by at Penny Rock. Autumn leaves in the main and a view across Grasmere in the extra.
