Mealy Bug

One of my neighbours came to see me (about the above infestation) while I was messing with my next door neighbour's car. He is a car salesman and he had a problem with his Acer. Fair exchange of knowledge!
I've not seen mealy bug on outdoor plants before but a quick surf brought forth a wealth of good ideas for the removal of the offending insect.
