Monty Burns goes to an Excellent Wedding

A day in Monopoli, an ancient port on the Adriatic coast. Lots of winding alleyways, washing hanging out of windows, Nonnas by doorways.

We are staying in the middle of town (in a cellar but that's my poor planning) near the Cathedral. When we got here there was a wedding, this chap was one of the key players. I would have blipped the wedding people but liked this shot better ( see extras for 'my big Italian wedding'), and the mono Monday theme is besides and he is beside a lady who I think is his wife.

Finally this evening we have had excellent food in a brilliant rooftop restaurant. Took us a while to find it but by jove it was good. 

Home tomorrow, looking forward to seeing Dotty the dog, apparently the children will be there as well ;).
