A cheat photo today, but with good reason and intent.
This is Kass, who sat her PhD viva today. The photo was taken by her primary supervisor, Karen, who was in the room the moment Kass was told she had passed and had no changes to make (this is a very rare outcome). 
Kass began her PhD study with me before I retired, and she asked me to join her after this event.
Happy news for everyone concerned and a lovely way to spend time today.
I feel proud, protective and honoured to have been part of her fabulous work. 
In case you wonder, she wrote about tongue tie and the different opinions professionals and parents hold, using Shakespearean quotes all the way through. Indeed!
