2023 Sunday — Morro Bay’s Harbor
This afternoon Chloe and Mitzi "told" us to, okay, they "asked" us to, put on their harnesses and leashes and find a sidewalk to stroll. So we did. We all walked the boardwalk at the north end of Morro Bay’s harbor.
Then we drove south to the marina across from the State Park to look at the water, the birds, and the boats, and the kayak shack.
Then we decided on a place to dine right near the Rock, and then home for the sunset.
From California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
Several people told me today that this is “Grandparent’s Day.” Being a Gramma — call it whatever you like: Grandma, Grammie, Mimi, Nanny, Gigi, Noni, Gma — has been one of the best experiences of my life. We have had so much fun with Ashly, Desiree, and Emerson and now 4 great-grands. I love them more than words can explain. However, the thought “God doesn’t have grandkids” kept repeating in my mind today. I don’t know why. So I thanked God for my two adult kids, our son Shawn and our daughter Deidre (Dede), and their exuberant love for Jesus. And I told God He could have my grandkids, they could be His kids because they are the best!
