Celf er mwyn celf ~ Art for art's sake

“Any great work of art … revives and readapts time and space, and the measure of its success is the extent to which it makes you an inhabitant of that world, the extent to which it invites you in and lets you breathe its strange, special air.”
― Leonard Bernstein

Mae'r darn hon o waith celf wedi ymddangos a gwaelod y stryd. Rhaid i mi ddweud pa mor rydw i’n gwerthfawrogi'r bobl sy'n gwneud y math o gelf ac yn ei chynnig i'r cyhoedd. Mae'n hyfryd.

Mewn newyddion arall, rydyn ni nawr yn cael peiriant golchi a pheiriant golchi llestri yn gweithio - ac mae'n nhw'n gweithio yn well na'r hen beiriannau. Mae bywyd mewn gwirionedd wedi dychwelyd i ryw fath o normalrwydd.

This piece of artwork has appeared at the bottom of the street. I must say how much I appreciate the people who make this kind of art and offer it to the public. It's lovely.

In other news, we now have a working washing machine and dishwasher - and they work better than the old machines. Life has actually returned to some form of normality.
