Oh no….

Not another ball! Luce had this amazing ability, no matter where she is, to find a tennis ball. She brings back so many that I usually pass them on.

Called into the vets to pick up the quarterly flea/worming tablets and J was chatting to a chap about his collie called socks. She apparently, without any training, has given herself the task of being a helping dog. He is deaf and she alerts him to the phone/door bell and should he leave the oven/fridge open there she is barking by him then going to where the problem is. He also suffers from sleep apnea and is on a breathing machine which beeps should he stop breathing. If the machine does not automatically start she hits the start button with her nose.

He thinks she had saved his life several times - amazing what dogs can do and in this case even more so with no training.
