The Tuesday crowd kindly selected a flat walk for Mr P today and another member of the group who's just had a new knee, The two invalids sauntered up the shore and back while the rest of us explored the Hest Bank shore and the Lancaster Canal. The very still water today made for stunning reflections.
Bridge built 1797, Grade 2 listing reads:- - "large punched gritstone blocks. Single semi-elliptical arch with projecting keystone. String course under solid parapet with rounded coping."  Now you know
