Dog beach
The weather was great, the water not too cold. Not too many people with or without dogs. So actually ideally!
Caspar swam again more than the two times before. We just have to push him away whenever he comes too close, because he tries to climb on us (D. was submerged one time).
Unfortunately, after a good hour three officers of the local regulatory office came by and asked us friendly to leave the water.
Dogs were not allowed in this part of the beach, only in a 50 square metres area closer to the entrance.
And come to speak of it: human beings were not allowed to swim at all. Only to the waist, not any deeper.
The "legal" dog beach was in use by nearly 10 dogs, not really funny.
I can tell you we were really pissed disappointed.
It is d*** hard to find a place in Germany where dogs are allowed to swim. Humans pee in the water, dogs don't. And dogs definitely don't do anything worse in the water.
One of the officers told us she had a dog herself and didn't understand the rule, but, well, it is the rule.
So, we will have to look for another possibility.
By the way, the water shoes worked well. They made my few steps on the beach much softer.
