Plea

Today was met by an impromptu invite from a colleague in my past role. She sent a Teams message first and then a meeting invite. I hadn’t responded to the message yet so that took me by surprise. The meeting was a a request for assistance. I had to keep my foot down, and suggest that it’s not my role so I will not be doing the job. I had also noted my ex-team leader saying that because I wrote somethings I should be contacted for everything. That would have not been the case if I left the company. However, I am certain that I will be asked to do things.

My new manager tasked me with making a presentation which requires a lot of heavy duty work. So I am on it!
