Leeking Tom

Tom had his first radiotherapy chat today after he complained about the the lack of communication. After an apology from the doctor he had a repeat blood test, (PSA). He’s going for a CT scan before he starts radiotherapy in November. That’ll last 4 weeks with a daily session Monday to Friday. We both feel better that there’s a plan in place. The oncologist spent 50 minutes with him. I’m very disappointed with the length of time it’s taken to get this far, it’s definitely not the NHS it used to be.
Tom harvested lettuce and lots of leeks from the allotment and distributed them to surrounding neighbours.
