Valley Of The Nuns

A half day tour took us over and through a mountain into he Valley Of The Nuns. It was a scary ride for two reasons: vertigo & lightspeed. I don't suffer from vertigo as such, but the minibus driver gave us all a fright with his overly confident fast curb slicing driving, so much so the Ukrainian woman in the front seat never spoke a word and I doubt it had anything to do with her lack of English. At one point we over took a moped in the tunnel at a leisurely 70km/h! Thankfully the roads are some of the finest I have ever come across: super smooth motorways and not a single pot hole. Anyhow, that aside, it was an amazing day out with stunning views left right & centre. See extras. Thanks to our driver, we got back to the hotel a pretty good time(!) and had plenty of time to readjust ourselves in the slow lane by going for a swim in the sea water pool (and the sea itself for a bit of snorkelling).
