A beautiful morning
The light was magical and my blip is of the River Tame as if flows past Elford Walled Garden. A few moments before this shot, I caught a glimpse of the kingfisher, heading south.
There were lots of birds around, and quite a few butterflies. I didn’t see most of the birds but Merlin came up with quite a list - lots of the regular tits, wrens, pigeons etc but also a garden warbler, Goldcrest, dunnock, treecreeper, nuthatch and blackcap. After the sweltering heatwave and the dismal dampness, it was as though the garden had come alive.
A truly happy place……
