Sea Pink

When a friend and I walked along the loch side earlier the sea pink flower lay before us looking beautiful, I didn't think I could capture a good shot of the carpet therefore decided to try a close up. Later when looking again at this picture I noticed the fleshy green stem it appears to lie on. I will need to go back and take a closer look at flower head and fleshy green bed.
