Red Admirals

The sun is out and the butterflies are back on the echinacea flowers. I missed them yesterday, but thankfully got a second chance.

A good walk in sunshine this morning in Balcaskie Estate. Most of the time on tarmac roads, but around a couple of fields too. We met two girls with a Goldendoodle almost the same size as Geordie. Geordie is usually very frightened of dogs he doesn’t know, just unsure of their intentions, but Winnie was obviously friendly and playful as she approached so Geordie was fine with her.
There’s such a lot I’m needing to do in the garden, but I’m not feeling great, so I’m going down to M’s for a wee while, then will see how I feel when I come back.
