Louisa arrived at 10 and we drove to Hilperton to have tea and chat with Carol at the fabulous garden centre there.

I think Carol knew about it but, until this summer, it is new to most of our group of friends.

Louisa's garden is enormous. She told us about the brick folly they are building at the bottom of their lawn. It won't look daft there. (I must show her my chubby cherub!)

I bought a couple (more) house plants. Sneaked them in without Clive noticing.

An afternoon in my own garden and then out with Hetty. She had the pleasure of Clive this morning.
