raised bed 1

This whole area used to be full of raspberry canes - only a few odd ones left now. For some reason they all died off but moved themselves a lot further up the garden. I have no idea why but they produced loads of raspberries this year in their new position. This is the first raised bed. It’s quite large - 6 feet x 4 feet x 2 feet high. We had this half round wood left over from a previous garden job from a few years ago. Taking quite a bit to fill it. Took this pic just before Mr I emptied one of his dalek compost bins into it. Ziggy of course helped by making himself comfortable on my kneeler cushion and generally supervising what we were doing.
