Didcot Railway Centre

A great day out with the Trains, Planes and Automobiles u3a group from Dene Valley.

This month’s visit was to Didcot Railway Centre which proved to very interesting and threw up some great photo opportunities.

Interesting to learn about Brunel and the building of the GWR line to the West Country. Perhaps the HS2 project could learn a thing or two.

I liked the juxtaposition of the clouds and steam for my Blip. The Red Kite (?) was a quick grab shot and my second extra was of the railway engineer.

Next trip in October is to the Morgan Car Factory so fingers crossed I can get a place.
