Not by bread alone

This year I’ve planted a couple of beds with a flower mix. Easy to care for and a joy to see.
Another couple of hours work this afternoon have made a huge difference. I reckon another this week and we will no longer need to hang our heads in shame at the weeds that took over while we were away through August.
Cropping marrow, shallots, beetroot red chard and we brought some sunflowers and cornflowers home too.
