Big doll’s house

Wendy has some favourite things she likes to do when she comes to stay. One of them is playing with the Big Doll’s House. Gilly and I built if from a kit when she was a little girl and it has waited here ever since she left home, hoping for a new little girl to come along.
We were delighted today when I dug out the electrical transformer and the room lights all came on! After twenty years of not being used!
It looks really magical with all the lights shining through the windows and Wendy was absolutely entranced.
To round off the experience we read the Tale of Two Bad Mice!!
