Feed me Seymore...
These are the smaller leaves of this plant. I don't know what it is, but it is about four feet tall and has leaves about a foot across and two foot long. A friend of mine gave me a tiny 6 inch cutting about two years ago. I've repotted it three times and if I repot it again I'm sure it will reach the ceiling by the end of the summer. My friend's plant is about 10 foot high. The plant itself was dug up out of his friend's garden in Louisiana. There, it is an outdoor plant. My friend tells me the house and garden are no longer there -- they were both destroyed in Katrina.
I liked the way they fell in front of the shade with the light behind them. But the picture came out much more boring than I liked. I didn't have time to take another, so I cheated a bit to add pizzaz.
