Not for the squeamish

This shot isn't going to be for everyone.  Lots of people aren't comfortable with spiders or flies, so to get both in one shot and with the fly being wrapped for storage, well I entirely understand those that moved quickly on and didn't even get to read this far.

The blowfly blundered into the web and the spider pounced upon it almost immediately.  Within seconds something that had been recognisable with wings and legs had been subdued and turned into a little ball of silk, with just the eye visible to distinguish it.  It really was quite impressively quick.
