Stockbridge Sunday Market

Quite an eventful day today, for a Sunday...

Woke up to discover that the internet was down... Rebooted router... no difference... rebooted router again... still no difference... concluded that the problem wasn't at my end... called my ISP's helpline... pressed 1 for a network status update... heard the recorded message saying that some broadband customers couldn't connect... so that would be me, then... It was back up by lunchtime, but I felt bereft for the couple of hours it was down. I rely so much on my internet connection but, of course, I don't realise this till it isn't there...

Then the sun came out, so we went for a wee walk to the Stockbridge Sunday Market. I don't know how long they have been doing this, but I haven't seen it before, so they could only have started in the past week or two. A great idea in practice, but a disappointing reality - a burger stall, a handful of other food stalls, a few craft stalls... Still, I hope it's a success and grows into something more interesting.

Saw a girl standing on a cone watching the cricket. Saw this little boy trying to reach the overhanging branches.

Went to Costa for a coffee with Anne and Sam. Had coffee and cake and a nice chat. Was blipped. Came home.

All in all, a very satisfactory Sunday afternoon :-)
