Repainting

This lady (Extra) was cleaning and re-painting the rather beautiful decorations in this monastery church – the Preobrazhenski Monastery, the church of the Transfiguration (“metamorphosis” – Extra). 

It was across the gorge from the Holy Trinity Monastery ( Extra); we wondered how they communicated, in the old days.   They are all rather beautiful, rundown, but some being renewed.
