Meccano

Probably blipped this before, don’t care, it’s great. You get an idea of its size if you play spot the starlings perched on it.
Meccano was invented & manufactured in Liverpool by a certain Mr Hornby (Yes, that Hornby). Obviously a talented chap.
Anyway, the factory site is now a big retail park. Nice for the history to be remembered though.
