Autumn Sunset in ADK

I didn't stay long in Brattleboro, as I didn't know my hostess very well and didn't want to overstay my welcome.  So today I drove a few hours west and north to the Adirondacks, to visit a friend I've known for years and years.  Her house, on a hillside, has beautiful views of the hills towards Vermont.  On a good day, you can just see Lake Champlain sparkling in the distance.
