Puddin’

Lucy’s minute pet Puddin Putin ( she’s a Russian dwarf - not Lucy , the hamster) the tiny little thing likes broccoli. Fascinating to watch . I’ve learnt a lot over the years about hamsters and if their exercise wheels are too small they get curved spines , wood shavings cause respiratory damage and they can also die early of depression if kept in cages too small… ohhh and those ball things that people buy are actually very cruel , I never thought about it until a vet said that they run in terror not because it’s fun, also lots of hamsters have to have feet amputated because they can get caught in the air holes … I had no idea, we used to put a hamster in one of those balls , I feel a bit horrified now .
