Winchester Heritage Open Days

Two visits today as part of Winchester Heritage Open Days.

Firstly to the Royal Logistic Corps museum at Worthy Down for a very entertaining tour by the museum director. I definitely need to revisit to look round at leisure. I was particularly taken by Napoléon's field bakery from Waterloo. The emperor was a stickler for good bread, apparently. - see extra.

Then onto the Hampshire Heritage Trust's reserve collection for a tour of their transport items. Thorneycroft lorries, steam wagons and this
Gordon-Keeble car. Gordon-Keeble cars were made in Eastleigh and then Southampton between 1964 and 67. Only 100 were produced.
