Camping in style

A back blip for Saturday because we have been trying to make the most of this fantastic weather and out new tent. We set off for Port Ban campsite a very beautiful and quiet place on the Kilberry peninsula and not far from home.

The site is on the beach with views out to the Isle of Jura. Before you get too excited about our new tent this is not it, ours is more basic than this. This was one of our neighbours tent, a bell tent that had been personalised into Moroccan style and was incredible inside. We all just loved it although I would never have the patience or the ability to set this up myself. All the lights worked from a small solar panel that sat at the front of the tent. I have missed out many details of this tent but I hope you get the style.
